Pandora - The World of Avatar
This is the newest land recently added to Animal Kingdom. The land recreates the world of Pandora, with everything from floating mountains to glowing jungles at night.
Avatar Flight of Passage
Hop on the back of a Banshee as you sour through the air flying over the land of Pandora. This is an amazingly cool experience, and this attraction is top notch. The lines might be long for this one, so plan accordingly, but if you get the opportunity, it will be a flight that you soon won’t forget. Height Requirements – 44 inches
Na’vi River Journey
Enjoy this relaxing boat ride through the strange sights and sounds of the Pandora rainforest.
Asia
Expedition Everest
Expedition Everest is an exciting roller coaster adventure through the scenes of Mount Everest with a unique twist along the way. The mysterious Yeti gets involved in the action and just might affect the outcome of your ride. Height Requirement – 44 inches
Kali River Rapids
Take a raft through the Kali River Rapids as you float down the Chakranadi River and navigate through the river rapids along the way. These are large rafts that will fit eight people. Be prepared to get wet on this ride as there is a drop and some of the rafters will most definitely get wet(possibly soaked)! Wearing a poncho is recommended for those who don’t want wet clothes afterward. Height Requirement – 38 inches
Maharajah Jungle Trek
Maharajah Jungle Trek is a self guided tour that allows you to view animals native to Asia as you walk through this Asian jungle. This is a themed trail as the trek takes you through ruins of an old hunting lodge. Along the way, you will find tigers, Komodo dragons, blackbucks, a number of bats, birds, and more. There are also guides along the way that can answer any questions that you have about the animals.
Dinoland, USA
Dinosaur
The Dinosaur attraction will have you travel back in time 65 million years as you go on this adventure to the land of dinosaurs! It’s a bumpy ride as you go on a mission to find a specific type of dinosaur, but try and avoid getting eaten along the way. Good Luck! Height Requirement – 40 inches
TriceraTop Spin
TriceraTop Spin will have you fly on a dinosaur and you can control your height as you fly around and around.
Africa
Kilimanjaro Safaris
Kilimanjaro Safaris will have you riding along in Safari trucks as you witness real animals living on this game preserve. They have 100 acres that these animals roam on, and you will see lots of variety, from rhinos and giraffes to elephants, baboons, zebras, lions and more.
Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail
Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail is located just next to the Kilimanjaro Safari. This walking trail makes the perfect compliment to the safari. This is an opportunity to view a number of African animals. Viewing the Hippos underwater is a great way to see these massive sized animals. And the large silverback gorillas are the featured animal for this trail.
Festival of the Lion King
Festival of the Lion King is a very entertaining live show full of acrobatics as they perform their stunts to the songs of the Lion King. The guests sit on all sides of the stage in this air-conditioned theatre.
Discovery Island
It’s Tough to be a Bug
The centerpiece of Animal Kingdom is the Tree of life. Within the roots of this mighty tree is a 4D Theatre with the show “It’s tough to be a Bug”. The tree itself has hundreds of animal carvings and one great way to see many of them is on the way to this show. The show is a fun film on what life is like as a bug. It’s quite entertaining and has a number of 4D surprises. Go check out this movie experience and get a close up of your many of the tree carvings along the way.
